About the Role

Five Star Roadside is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Facilities & Network Operations Manager to ensure that all service locations, facility hours, and coverage data are accurate and fully aligned with technician availability. This role is the backbone of our operational network—making sure motor clubs dispatch calls correctly and efficiently across all markets.

You’ll manage facility configurations, communicate real-time changes to motor clubs, prevent incorrect dispatches, and support expansion into new service areas.

Core Responsibilities

1. Facility Operations Management

  • Maintain accurate operating hours for all roadside service facilities

  • Update motor club partners (Agero, Allstate, Honk, Urgently, etc.) about any changes in coverage

  • Deactivate/reactivate facilities based on technician availability

  • Ensure unmanned or inactive facilities don’t receive dispatch calls

  • Monitor live changes and update facility data in real time

2. Facility Expansion & Market Strategy

  • Identify new service facility opportunities based on volume, geography, and demand

  • Analyze population density, highway corridors, and call volume zones

  • Prepare expansion proposals

  • Configure new facilities inside Towbook, motor club portals, and internal systems

3. Technician-to-Facility Mapping

  • Map technicians accurately to eligible facilities

  • Maintain updated coverage maps

  • Track facility performance and coverage risks

  • Report low-tech coverage areas for recruiting support

4. Motor Club & Partner Communication

  • Act as the primary contact for coverage updates, facility hours, suspensions, and reactivations

  • Maintain professional relationships with motor club partners

  • Ensure real-time and accurate communication

5. Reporting & Data Management

  • Maintain Excel sheets, trackers, and facility dashboards

  • Track active/inactive facilities and coverage gaps

  • Provide weekly network performance updates

  • Identify operational risks and growth opportunities


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Operational management or network coordination experience

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)

  • Able to work U.S. Central Time (8 AM – 5 PM CST)

  • Experience with Towbook, motor club portals, CRMs, or dispatch systems preferred

  • Strong Excel and data-handling skills

  • Laptop, fast internet, and quiet workspace

Is this a fully remote position?

Yes. This is a 100% remote role, but you must have reliable electricity, strong internet, and a quiet, professional workspace.

Do I need prior experience with motor clubs?

It’s not required, but experience with Agero, Allstate, Honk, Urgently, or dispatch networks is a big advantage.

What time zone do I have to work in?

You must work 8 AM – 5 PM U.S. Central Time (CST) Monday through Friday.

What systems will I be using daily?

Towbook, Excel/Google Sheets, Zoho systems, motor club portals, internal dispatch trackers, and communication tools like WhatsApp, Google Voice, and email.

What is the main responsibility of this role?

To ensure all Five Star Roadside facilities are configured correctly, active only when covered, and synced with technician availability so dispatches are accurate.

Is this a technical IT role?

Not exactly. It’s an operations + systems role focused on accuracy, coordination, and clear communication with partners.

Will I be managing technicians directly?

No. You’re managing facilities and network setup, not supervising technicians.
